Summary

Well well。 That's how we start a new arc!! Lol。 I genuinely gasped out loud a few times。 I think I've spent too much time away from the warriors books bc every injury made me nervous 🤦🏻‍♀️ this very much had the feel of like when the Harry Potter books started getting darker and I had no idea what mischief was afoot and who might die or be catastrophically injured next。 Which is weird to say, but I like it。 I like knowing no one is safe - any cat could die or get hurt, leaders can lose lives, an Well well。 That's how we start a new arc!! Come onnnnnn Ps I need 100% more yellowfang meddling。 Thank goodness starclan is a thing bc I cannot let go of these cats like I'm still not over spottedleaf okay lol 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛Pps, I think I'm going with 3。75 because holy high stakes。 Also the addition of dovepaw is lovely, and I actually liked lionblaze for once hahaPpps jayfeather and his grumbling snark always makes me smile 🤣 love him SO much 💕💕 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 This book just…was stinky and mouse-brained。 I’m only on page 46 of Fading Echoes and it’s already way better。 I think we are all going to collectively ignore this book。 I’m fine with that。 Rippletail’s death was…???? But in Fading Echoes it is heart wrenching (for Dovepaw) also, why the hell is Lionblaze here。 JAY AND DOVE SHOULD HAVE SHARED THIS BOOK。 Just watch the Simmy Speaks video, goodnight Tri State Area。

Also I didn’t Love Dovewing。 But I liked her later。 Loved Jayfeather。 Was Breezepelt in this book? I feel like he was。 Idk。 I’ll adjust this when I reread it。

REREAD。 I’m not a fan of Dovepaw but I love Ivypaw with all my heart。 I missed Hollyleaf a lot。 I didn’t enjoy that much the trip to find the beavers but I liked Jayfeather pov, even if I’m not a Jayfeather’s fan, especially Poppyfrost storyline。Breezepelt annoyed me。 I used to like him, to feel sorry for him, but now it’s clearly over。

I love warriors! Every series has been a wild ride ( except the new prophecy, that just had a lot of walking ) I also love how every chapter end with a cliff-hanger。 I would have rated this book 5 stars except for the fact that this book's cats are way to over-powered as their powers and strength。 I remember the first books where cats couldn't survive whitecough。 Now I see ( SPOILER ) cats taking on full fledged beavers! Cats are all friendly and soft not hard and aggresive like true warriors。 T I love warriors! Despite some books not being as great as others, I have never had a series capture my attention like the Warrior Cats did。 I do not care how old I am。。。 I will always read the latest book as soon as I can get my hands on them。** Please ignore the year read, I just set the date as today lol**

My daughter and I enjoyed continuing the story of Jayfeather and Lionblaze。 However, there were more inconsistencies, which are quite annoying and detract a bit from the enjoyment of the story。

The Fourth Apprentice takes off directly after The Power of Three and we basically have the same storyline with the same cats, but two new main characters are introduced, Dovepaw and Ivypaw。 I was already a bit annoyed that we got the perspective of apprentices at the beginning of a new arc again but at least we also have Lionblaze and Jayfeather。 I took really few notes while reading this one because there is almost nothing happening。 We still have the family drama between Firestar's children a The Fourth Apprentice takes off directly after The Power of Three and we basically have the same storyline with the same cats, but two new main characters are introduced, Dovepaw and Ivypaw。 I was already a bit annoyed that we got the perspective of apprentices at the beginning of a new arc again but at least we also have Lionblaze and Jayfeather。 I took really few notes while reading this one because there is almost nothing happening。 We still have the family drama between Firestar's children and grandchildren and a threatening atmosphere with the prophecy and not knowing what it means。 The second part of the story includes a travel again but at least we get to see new animals besides cats, foxes, rats and badgers。 It was kinda predictable what would happen with the beavers and I didn't care so much for all the new characters, so I was not so invested in the final fight。 Dovepaw is an interesting POV-character, and her powers are cool。 I liked especially that she doesn't notice that she's special and that she comes to the slow realization that something is not right with her。 I hope that she won't have a secret relationship with Tigerheart because this would be nothing new。 Jayfeather provided us with one of the saddest moments of the series: (view spoiler)[He broke his stick! Man, this made me sadder than some other deaths in the series lmao (hide spoiler)]。 Breezepelt is also there, and he is so weird, he should just go away please。 It was good for me that I took a Warriors break between this one and Bluestar's Prophecy because after some time, you do get tired from the books because it is basically almost the same every time。 The beginning of Omen of the Stars was your average Warriors book and hopefully, the pace of the story will increase in the future since the main event of this arc is foreshadowed since six books (greetings to my past me: It won't)。 Warriors - Omen of the Stars➳ The Fourth Apprentice: ★★★➳ Fading Echoes: ★★★★★➳ Night Whispers: ★★★。5➳ Sign of the Moon: ★★★➳ The Forgotten Warrior: ★★★。5➳ The Last Hope: ★★★ 。。。more

This was a really good start of a new series。 I was engaged the entire time and eager to know what would happen next。 The action scenes had my heart pounding and I even felt tears come at a certain point in the story。 I didn't finish the last series (Power of Three) but I don't feel like I missed anything, since this book recapped everything pretty well。One of the things that does bug me though is that it doesn't seem like some of the story threads from the last series make an appearance here。 W This was a really good start of a new series。 I was engaged the entire time and eager to know what would happen next。 The action scenes had my heart pounding and I even felt tears come at a certain point in the story。 I didn't finish the last series (Power of Three) but I don't feel like I missed anything, since this book recapped everything pretty well。One of the things that does bug me though is that it doesn't seem like some of the story threads from the last series make an appearance here。 What was the point in having the Tribe be in trouble? Is that ever going to be addressed again? Or what about River Clan having to defend their territory from humans? Was that ever resolved? I would really love to know what's going on with River Clan since it seems like Leapordstar is going a little crazy just like Bluestar did before she died。I liked the introduction of Dovepaw and really liked that she didn't want to be different or special。 I felt that was a nice contrast to Jayfeather。 I'm also really intrigued by the Dark Forest cats and I'm interested to see how that all happens。 Though really a conflict between them and the Clan cats seems a bit much when the living cats can't seem to last five minutes without clawing at each other。I really want this nonsense to be resolved already。 Crowfeather continues to be a terrible father and I can't imagine what happened there。 And when are these cats going to learn to live in peace with each other? Each series promises it but in each one they still want to kill each other for daring to breathe on the other one's territory, and they're still extremely prejudiced and xenophobic。 I'd say that's the weakest thing in this series。 Especially since the series also proves that when they do have to work together, they learn they like each other and that there's no reason for all the Clan fighting and hatred。On the whole, though, I liked this a lot and I hope that this series continues to be good。 。。。more
